STASA

Stasa is a two-story stone house that was built at the end of the 18th century in the traditional town of Aegina island and was renovated in 2021 with a lot of love and passion from the owners, keeping intact the traditional architecture that is part of the cultural heritage of the island and highlighting it with modern minimalist interventions, using only eco-friendly primary materials.

Its name was inspired by the name of the grandmother of the owners, a woman who with personal care kept alive the residence all these years only with lime and love.

The soprano Stasa who loved singing, travelled to other heavens in 1999 and since then the summer house has been deserted.

The voices fell silent and time undistracted left its marks on every corner of the house, which in the stubbornness of the times remained upright but forgotten, until the moment when her two grandchildren, Lukas and Eleni, decided to give it colour and life again. The house was renovated with respect to the memories and the architecture of the island and is now ready to welcome and host the traveller from every corner of the earth.

The residence is located behind the church of Panagitsa in Aegina town, a settlement intact by interventions, with the stone houses and the narrow streets that create a truly unique environment, seemingly untouched by time. It has two elegant apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor which have modern infrastructure of high quality and aesthetics maintaining their authentic character, offering homely comfort and warm hospitality. The thick walls, the mild climate, the warm sunlight that enters from the wooden windows, make it ideal for hospitality all year round. A proposal addressed to lovers of eclectic accommodation and high aesthetics that offers a unique authentic experience to those who wish to travel on a special island of long history, enjoy the various alternative activities, tranquillity and unique nature in all four seasons of the year away from intense commercialization and mass tourism.

Guests will now live their own beautiful moments in this place, they will create their own memories and they will fill the white pages with new images of joy in a house that comes from the past looking to the future....
We are waiting to accommodate you!
